an alternitive remote...Maybe

Ok im looking to build or even bye if they exist? I want to use my joystick coupled to my laptop teatherd thew my rc radio.to control my plane maybe im wording it wrong but i cant seem to find it ..a device to connect to my pc serial or usb to act as my radio just a black box type object with an antenna that is the transmitter. not the traditional remote. this is will be my first build of a UAV type plane and i want it to look good while i control parts of it before and after automated flight

I was going to contact you later but this is good place like any. I have gone through the fail safe device diagrams and presentations the moment they came out last month and was very impressed. Planning to order one soon , mean while I have recently purchased Aerocomm AC4790-1000 LR . I know that fail safe offers additional serial port/in parallel for other generic serial modems/device. I liked the way Xtrend modem fits and sits on the board. Will I be able to fix my aeroComm AC4790 the same way ( piggy back style, without re drilling the mounting holes) ? I mean the pin type and pin out , will they match? Asking you will be easier than trying to find the details from xtrend site :) . Thanks for bring out great product. I also liked the servo station which is also in my wish list. The joystick control for PTZ optics is final desire. More question will follow soon.
