There's not enough information here for people to help you. Which board? How did you plug in your battery? Are you using the standard PDB? Did you do the soldering yourself and if so have you checked it for shorts? Maybe include a photo of your connections, too.
Permalink Reply by Jereme Matthews on January 14, 2012 at 12:13am Ok. I got the board working I think i had a couple wires crossed. But now here is the big problem. I have calibrated each esc (Turnigy Trust 45A), but when I hook them all in together to the Full Ardupilot Mega Kit, I soldered up and have previously tested. The ESC's dont' do anything. I can't understand it.
Are you following the manual? Have you armed the ESCs? Checked the Troubleshooting Guide?
Permalink Reply by Jereme Matthews on January 14, 2012 at 12:35am Yes. I followed everything as it stated. I plug the battery in and no sounds coming form the esc. I get the light on the board and can arm the board, but still no motor response. I can get the motors working if I hook them staight into the receiver, but nothing when I hook it into the ardupilot. I don't understand the phrase PDB.

PDB is power distribution board :)
If your escs are like my turnigy dlux ones. They dont beep unless they're receiving an RC signal.
Plug the esc signal wire directly into your receiver. Then power up the esc. It should power the receiver as well.
If this works, theres nothing wrong with your ESC. If not check the voltage coming from your bec (+ and - wires on esc signal cable)
It could be a problem with the motor outputs. Check the connections.
G:)

I didnt read your last post. soz :)
Have u tried calibrating ALL the escs at once?

Permalink Reply by Jereme Matthews on January 14, 2012 at 6:34am I am not sure how to do all of them at the same time.

Permalink Reply by Jereme Matthews on January 14, 2012 at 7:46am ok. I've tried that too. When I have the APM board hooked up to the pc and run throught everything. Then I start getting continous beeps from the esc. Not sure why that is happening either. But when I unhook the battery and hook it back up nothing happens.
Permalink Reply by Jereme Matthews on January 14, 2012 at 7:56am Ok. This is real strange. I finally got it working. But here is the catch. I have to plug my APM board into the pc. wait a few seconds, then plug in the battery and then I get tones from the ESC's. I unplug the cable from the pc and it work. Any comments would be helpful.

Under no cicumstances must you plug the APM into the computer with the escs attached to the apm without the battery plugged in!!!!!!!!!!!! Im pretty sure i cooked my 1st apm this way.
Rule is: if you plug the apm into the PC (with the escs attached). The lipo MUST be plugged in first. Otherwise the escs try draw current from the PC via the APM and cook it!
