Ardupilot with nitro plane?

Can I use the ardupilot board only with an electric plane, or is it also possible to use it with a nitro plane, including thrust control?

Yes, you can. You must adjust carefully the throttle low position to keep the engine running. I have an ASP 90 FS engine mounted in my trainer 60.
