Hello,
I received my ardustation about a week ago and have been excited to start using it as a pan tilt mechanism in my ground station. I've seen people using ardustation as antenna tracking mechanism but can not find a full description as of how it works. I'm using a 2.4GHz Xbee on my arducopter to connect to Mission Planner but how can I have 2 xbee receiver to use in my computer as well as ardustation? Can I simply buy an extra xbee receiver and link it to my telemetry? Is there any where I could get extra information?
I also noticed that my ardustation is missing a xbee connection (as its shown below)
I got mine from www.udrones.com/ is this a easy fix or should I contact them? I guess to solder a new connector I should take the LCD out and re-solder it which wouldn't be fun at all :(
two last questions, where should I connect the servos for pan tilt mechanism and what software I should use to program the arustation!

Heres a link to the source code: http://code.google.com/p/ardustation-ii/downloads/list
Im pretty sure they forgot to add that sil connector. You can either send it back :(
Or if you are fairly adept at soldering, using a fine tip iron, add the connector without unsoldering the LCD...

I guess it's easier to de-solder the LCD put the missing xbee connector as well as servo connector and solder the LCD back.
The question now is what software to use to connect the ardustation to pc to load the code?

Be careful unsoldering the LCD, dont overheat the components.
Uploading the firmware is the easy part.
You use the arduino IDE available at www.arduino.cc
Im not sure if theres a usb connection on the ardustation, i dont think there is, so you need to use an FTDI cable. Plug that in, make sure windows recognises it. Open the firmware in arduino, select the correct comport an board. Compile and upload. If you have compile errors, check your libraries.
