Howdy from Wyoming, I am an old member here and finally decided to stop bein cheap and get an ardupilot setup! The problem is, I have everything (ardupilot, expansion board w/windwspeed and thermopiles) and the gps. Well...Ive been messing with it and when i put in the new update for use with ardupilot, it gives me spuratic readings and does not make sense. But when its back at the 9,600 baud rate...everything is just fine. Is there a way to change the ardupilot base code to accept 9,600? Also, when im at the ~30,000 (cant remember the exact number) it shows that i am not connected to any satellites at all but still gives me readings. P.S. i am using a Ublox gps.

You could change the AP code to run at 9600 baud, but you would be better off to reprogram your ublox. The info is here on the site somewhere. Search is your friend.....
I reprogrammed my ublox several times...following the instructions exactly....is it supposed to give me gibberish when i reprogram it?
