I wanted to start gathering parts for my Zepher flying wing, so I grabbed my computer to do some motor calculations but I am not sure where to start, what Kv.  It seems to me there was a weight or size conversion when calculating motor size but my old links to that information are either lost or broken.  Any ideas or rules of thumb?

Also; does anyone know of an updated version of electricalc that will work with the newer operating systems?

www.motocalc.com claim to install on Vista and W7 without any funny business. I've used it on Vista without problems.
