I recently got a 3 cell 11.1V 20C zippy lipo from hobbyking. I was trying to find the right charge rate to use, but I couldn't find anything on hobbyking that said what rate to use. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Grant,

It's a good idea to use it all the time. It won't hurt, as I said before it only takes one session either overcharging a single cell above 4.2 volts or draining a single cell below 3 volts to possibly ruin your battery. I'd use it all the time. Read your manual thoroughly, especially when it comes to balancing.

A note about charge rates. The standard charge rate for LiPo batteries is 1C that's 1xCapacity so if you have a 3 cell 2 mah battery pack charge at 2.0 amps. Charging at a rate greater than 1C can be dangerous, and charging at a rate lower than 1C in an attempt to squeeze a few more milliamps into a battery is also a bad idea. If your pack isn't charging to full rated capacity at 1C,or it won't hold it's voltage under load it's probably a sign that the pack isn't healthy.
Grant, Yes you need to plug in the balancer tip when ever you are charging, this is cable that lets charger know individual voltage of cells. This cable is nothing but a common( negative) and tap from each cell. So for a 3S LiPo you will find 4 wires in the balancing tip. You can cross check if your charger senses correct individual voltages by checking each tap against common(black) with good digital volt meter. there are few LiPo with built in balancer and so you may not find the balancer tip /cable in it.
@ Nathan, thanks for the info. I will try charging @1C rate and see how it goes.
