Ok, so were agreed then.....LETS GET IT DONE...

for thos who may have seen any of my posts...apologies for my witterings....Were moving to bigger premises so i cant do anything tangable until Xmas, however, phone calls cost me nothing, so for those who are serious, please PM me and i will set up calls to those who need it, to get the ball rolling.

ryan, thanks on teh starfighter, people said it couldnt be done...lol....

GAD is just the RC side of our manufacturing business along with 4 other brand names, the majority is spent on UAV/UAS development with various agencies, this is the serious stuff. So we have quite a bit of background on this...

Maybe we can open a few eyes, show what Ardu and others can really do, and give those doubting thomas`s a moment of pause.

what say you guys?

Mike I tried to pm you.

I was actually suprised with the starfighter as I thought you would have a lot of problems with stability especially with such short stubby wings but it looks like it flies perfectly. I might have to order one in the new year.

We will have to see if we want to approach the guys on the rc groups forum or whether we want to hold it on our own and maybe get some trade stands etc.....

No I reckon in a field at the back of a real ale pub, getting stands and the like is just too much.

Next you'll be saying the BMFA should be there ;-)

LOL...BMFA!!!! had a chat last year when organising somthing, and said we could use a little promotion in teh RC field....they said....and i quote..."We dont do that sort of thing" nearly slapped the guy, outragious...

a few select traders with like minded interest`s could be beneficial, know about 95% of UK traders, friends or at least on good terms with say 60%, adn i know that at least 30 traders would be interested in showing and demoing, Lets not get some of the anal retentive muppets involved..(gary if you know the UK market, you will know who i mean!)

Real Ale, is def an option....if all else fails bring the tent of real aleness to us!, if you cant move mohammed and all that!

Starfigther.......very stable aircraft indeed, just not the real thing..lol.also one of GAD`s biggest sellers, but only after teh F-6 EDF. I display the F-104G at all shows we trade at. People are always impressed because of the above comment adn what we all know F-104`s to be!..lol thanks for the comments also..

So thougths?

woo woo woo gary... the BMFA...no thanks.

Sorry Im not a member of them or a bmfa club but that is getting a bit serious. Im up for any ideas. It would just be good to see a good range of Unmanned aircraft gathered together and maybe some flying.

Although I dont drink I might be willing to on this occasion....;-)

Sadly my myself and all m ydisplay pilots need BMFA ins to demonstrate at shows...so a nec evil......
