Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I thought someone may be interested in having a go and writing an Android phone application that will be flown onboard a small satellite.

They are open to suggestions as to the kind of application, so using onboard gyro, compass, and camera for attitude control is a real posibility.

It's a really short time frame, so my guess would be to re-use code from an exsisting project.

Details are here

We're giving away the chance to write an app and the chance to fly that app in space, on our phone.

Your app has to be interesting, preferably with some kind of scientific or technological goal (but we are not ruling out apps which are just plain fun!) and you have to convince us that you could have the app ready for the 1st of October 2011

This is my first post, so please be kind
