Hey, I just wanted to share a story of how the great folks at DIY drones helped me. I recently ordered some parts (IMU V3, Optical Flow Sensor, some props, etc..) and it was shipped Fedex. As expected, the folks at DIY Drones shipped it out right away and I began to patiently track my order. Interestingly, I expected the order to be on my doorstep last Thursday and it wasn't so I started checking the tracking again. The package was last at Memphis, TN on Jan 31st ??? Nothing after that??? Hmm, so I called Fedex and they said "HMMM, that's not right!!!", so they opened a ticket to trace it. I then contacted DIY Drones with the info and the ticket number with Fedex to begin the claim process. As a side note, the women at DIY Drones customer support are some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to deal with. I expressed concern that since I waited forever (not their fault) for the optical flow sensor to come back in stock, I was hoping they could set aside one of the last 8 left to replace the one Fedex lost. They gladly duplicated the order and then further, shipped it out while waiting for the claim to be processed.
Again, I've dealt with a lot of companies, but DIY Drones is now what I consider one of the best for support. They have been the nicest and most knowledgeable staff I have had the pleasure to deal with. They called me back right away after they did their research. They shipped out the new parts overnight so I would have them this weekend.
Again, they didn't have to do any of this. The shipping wasn't their fault, and they were following a process. They were extremely polite, and more than willing to help me get this project going.
Thanks again!!!!
