easystar by multiplex is a very stable airframe, and ardupilot is designed for use with the Easystar. However, its on backorder pretty much everywhere
Almost any cheap indestructible trainers( made of EPO or elapor foam) would do. I used hobbico nexstar .which is fairly good for the job and I enjoyed it. but space is premium inside small models. easystar clones are available which are cheaper but may need little modification to get the AP inside.
alright thanks morli but i spoke with joel and he and i have a good plan
I recommend the Dynam HawkSky
wow thanks chris! u just saved me like 75 dollars!
Theres an abundance of easystars here in Brisbane Australia, if anyone wants I can forward you the hobby shop details :)
umm i dont live in australia
International shipping???
Hey - do you have those details ?? I want to buy an Easystar here in Brisbane..
hmm...I like your idea for the hawk sky, but I think I'm gonna have to go with the easystar. As you mentioned in your article about the hawksky, the easystar has better stability and can handle crashes better. thanks anyway
this one is good cheaper replacement, I have flown it plain RC mode and it was fun. But I like the skywalker better due to internal space and over all size. You can pretty much put every thing you want inside. Similar to multiplex Easystar but bigger & It is EPO foam too( ask and confirm before you order) since there some EPP version floating around.
not sure we get the skywalker in australia - nor the AXN Floater-Jet
