I need help on gathering info on Quadcopters and related platforms!

Ive been searching for days now and i can not find a newbie guide to quads and other related platforms. All the links ive seen are in German! (I dont read german)

u dont need german to find a quad !!! all it needs is googling !!!
use wiki to find how they work !
