Installing props on inverted motors

Hi All please help me!  I'm currently finishing up a build of the Lynxmotion V Tail 500.  As you know the rear motors are upside down.  My question is this: how to I get these motors to push air towards the ground?  I assume that the only way (because all props will be mounted label visible) is to put a CCW prop on a motor rotating clockwise and a CW prop on the motor going counter clockwise.  Do multirotor props even work if you rotate them backwards?  I would guess the prop design would be very inefficient doing this but I see no other alternative. I see many builds on here with inverted motors so I figured you guys are the experts on this

  • All of the props should be mounted label up. I.e., on the inverted motors, the label will face the motor body. Props are not intended to be run backwards.
    • Thanks Scott, so on the inverted motors i shouldn't be able to read the label on the hub correct?  So, i'm essentially flipping the airfoil over to attack the other direction?  Thanks, i'm getting close to flying this guy
