  • Hello,

I'm hoping to design and build a quadcopter that uses a Microsoft Kinect to see map the ground beneath it in 3D. There are a lot of issues that go along with this and one of them is the computing power needed to render the information collected by the Kinect fast enough to be useful for guiding the quadcopter. My plan is to have a base station that wireless-ly recieves information from the quadcopter, processes it, thinks of some instructions, and the sends those instructions back to the quadcopter to be executed. I don't know very much about wireless communication so I'm hoping someone can tell me what method (i.e., bluetooth, wifi, etc.) would be best. Basically, I want to the quadcopter to be able to send large amounts of data quickly.
