MP issue when using PX4 to drive camera gimbals

There appears to be a problem with the MP when attempting to program the PX4 gimbal servo channels for roll, pitch and yaw.

According to the Arducopter Wiki RC9 is the PX4 channel to use for roll, but does not appear in the MP roll gimbal selection. The only RC channels that are available for roll are RC8 and RC10.
