Somewhere in mission planner maybe in Missions.

When i disconnect battery and connect via USB (a typically routine) the warning of battery (of course) speech is annoying and the the only way to stop it (as far as I know) is to go to Configuration tab and from Planner menu disable Speech.

So tired of this :(

  • Agreed for safety reasons as well. I'm just beginning so I have spent a decent amount of time connected to Mission Planner via usb while watching YouTube videos for recommendations on configuring the Turnigy 9X.  I would really prefer to not have the motors receiving power while I mess with the throttle. But if I want to use only one PC, I have to plug in the battery to be able to listen to the audio without the annoying warning repeating incessantly. It I didn't have multiple machines it would be next to impossible to get past that. At this point the least annoying thing to do is to disconnect the battery monitor as I am less likely to forget that it isn't there than to forget to recheck 'MP Alert on Low Battery' in Configuration -> Battery Monitor.

If you run it on a laptop, just hit the mute key. That's what I do. Or after landing I disconnect MP.
  • Not only annoying, but also a fail risk as I sometimes forget to put it on again while flying and this way are risking to loose power & crash because of low voltage on my battery.
