One of the motors does not spin correctly.

After swapping ESCs with an other arm it seems that it is motor related. The 'problem' stayed with the motor when two ESCs were swapped around. One again I also moved the signal connectors back and forth. All situations resulted in the same motor demonstrating this 'twitching' behavior.

This is a terribly boring problem... I want to get onto the 'good stuff'. ;-)

Any more ideas?

  • One of the wires going into the motor had a poor solder joint from the factory.

This was found by stripping off the heat shrink and inspecting the joint.

Repaired and the motor is working fine now.

  • Odds are its a bad bullet connector. Try swaping a couple of the motors around and see what happens.

DO NOT PUSH THE STICK UP TO HIGH WHEN THE MOTOR STUTTERS OR YOU WILL BLOW THE ESC!
