Greetings. I am in need of help. I had built a low-cost quad. My quad uses arduino UNO, ITG3205(wii motion plus), ADXL 335 (accel), 40 Amp ESCs, 1400kV motors. But the problem is..i do not know how to control the motors based on the input of the sensors. In summary..i don't know the coding for arduino compiler..

So far i've managed to control the motors directly via the TX and RX communication. But the UAV won't take -off!I guess i really need to work on the sensors and PID.
I've tried to read signals from the acc and gyro and it works. But how do i integrate this value so that the angular speed of the propeller can be controlled??How can i implement a PID controller??Enlighten me..

Check out the web site, AeroQuad.com.
That software will run fine on a Uno. You're going to have to do some coding to get the code to work with you sensors. What is that green card in your diagram? Is it the sensor board? (i.e. IMU)

Oh and the green card there is the hacked wii motion plus gyro sensor (ITG3205). I assumed ITG3205=ITG3200 in the coding. Is it right?

I think the Uno's logic levels are TTL, so you need the LLC to interface any CMOS sensors to it. You'd have to look at the ITG3200 datasheets, but I think they are equivalent. You're better to ask all these question son AeroQuad forum. They are very helpful there. My username is 'elchan' on AeroQuad. See you there!
Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The third round was a reliablilty/aerial photography round for both planes and copters, which is now closed. Stay tuned for the next round, beginning soon.60 members
