Question regarding battery pack for Turnigy 9X 2.4 GHz 8Ch Receiver

Hi,

I want to buy a battery pack for my Turnigy 9X 2.4 GHz 8Ch Receiver and I was told I need it to be between 4.5V and 6.5V. Is there any specs on the amps? The thing is that I found a ton of battery packs at 5 or 6V, but all with different amps... Which one should I use? Can someone point me towards a the "ideal battery pack" I could use?

Just so you know, I looked at that video and that's where I found most of my info about what I needed and how to setup the whole thing :

Thank you!

Hi Antoine,

Looks like nobody has answered this, so I'll have a go.

Normally the Receiver gets its power from the main battery either via the control lead from the ESC or via a separate 5V BEC. Perhaps you could explain more about your setup to understand why you need a separate battery.

The receiver itself only draws 20mA.  However, it may in turn be providing power to servos which can be much thirstier.

If you want a battery just for binding, 4 x AA-size Duracells would do the job.

Dave.

sorry did not see this question earlier...

All the info you need is there:
