Depends. What range do you have now, what range do you want? Which radios are you using? Which antennas?
I am using 900MHz monopole antenna, and the range was 25 meters, that transmitter was at a distance of 25 meter from receiver, and now i have designed helical antenna. is it good to improve the link range?
25 m sounds really bad, even a 1mW transmitter should give you hundreds of meters range with just monopoles. You could have a problem somewhere in your setup.

A helical antenna is more directional, so yes, it will improve your range.
I am assuming you have the Xbee PRO 900 50 mW. It should easily go min 1 mile LOS on the ground with standard antennas. Something is wrong here? With a well aimed yagi you should go for many miles.
