hi Folks,

Hoping this is the correct section...

I am quite bored now of bending motor shafts when I, er, don't land so well. it's mostly me being a bit of an idiot, trying to land on tables or flying in between trees.

I want to replace the super strong steel screw on the motors with something like a nylon or similar screw so they snap on impact instead of bending the shaft. Granted, there will still be tears at times but for the most part, I knee-high crashes should not be a problem. :D

It is for a 3DR quad with stock 850 motors and a 3S lipo. Flying ranges from hovering to throwing it around in the air so don't want something that will detach in-flight. :(

Cheers,

Crispin
