Talk: The Center for Interdisciplinary Remotely-Piloted Aircraft Studies (CIRPAS)

- The meeting should be quite interesting. Dr. Robert Bluth will present " Introduction to CIRPAS": Center for Inter-Disciplinary Remotely Piloted Aircraft Studies. The Center for Interdisciplinary Remotely-Piloted Aircraft Studies (CIRPAS) is a research center at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. The center operates manned, instrumented research aircraft in support of the science community. It also provides air vehicle support to the military on training exercises and with tests, evaluations, and operational demonstrations of military technology.

- Food will be provided, and we will be accepting any donations for the chapter.

Board Meeting:
This announcement is for the general meeting whereas the board meeting, held by the executive council, will be at 5 PM in the same location and is open to all interested. Any issues requiring voting by the membership will always carry into the general meeting.

Location:
Flight Operations Building, NASA Ames, Moffett Field, Mountain View, CA 94040

Directions:
- From 101 take the Ellis St. exit, turn east, and enter through the south gate. Show ID to the guard and tell him you are going to Flight Operations.

- You will not need a badge to enter. If there is any problem with entry, call Base Operations at (650) 603-9213.

- After passing thru the guard gate, make a left at the light and you'll see the Flight Operations building (with Control Tower) on the right. Park in the lot and buzz the front door and you will be let in. Tell the person who buzzed you in what you are here for and then proceed to the conference room near the middle of the second floor.
