I am wondering if anyone has confirmed accounts of acquiring a GPS fix actually indoors with this module? Any sort of feedback about this module would also be greatly appreciated.

Mine gets lock in 30 second indoors with a hot start, Cold start can take 5-10 minutes, it fell into couch and kept a good lock with antenna pointed down. When it rains /snows I get some loss of sats... iI have run it for over 100 hours while testing..
What sort of building are you capable of collecting data? Please describe the worst case scenario that you have received data, and any particular ones that you have not. Have you ever tried in a trunk of a car? Cement/Steel building?
Wood with composite shingle roof lots of insulation little metal... works in car fine..,, I place uBlox on a 8" metal plate to act as a reflector, it improves sat acquisition time. Metal over top of antenna will cause problems... Tall buildings can make a shadow blocking some sats too..
Thanks Mark!
I got a GS407 from sparkfun last month that was bad. It would not get a GPS fix indoors or outdoors. They replaced it with this GPS which is nearly identical, (the GS407 was out of stock). I hooked it up and got a GPS fix in less than a minute.
