Hi,
I believe that my FMA Z IR sensor is broken after one of my crashes. Unable to get a replacement, I am planning to use a spare FMA XY sensor as replacement.
My Z sensor was mounted as per manual - ie cables forward.
I have determined which pair of sensors on the XY sensor are connected (I am using the same cable which onl;y has one signal wire present).
My question - how do I determine which way up is equivalent to the original Z sensor orientation.
I have mounted it so that the cable/connector is at the North East position, as viewed from the left of the plane. (east is toward the front of the plane; north is up). In this position, when running the IR test program, the readings DECREASE from ~512 when I hold my hand ABOVE the sensor, and INCREASE when hand is held BELOW the sensor.
Thanks
Nigel
