I'd like to buy these XBee components:
- XBee-PRO 868 with wired whip antenna (XBP08-DPWIT-024)
- XBee-PRO 868 with RPSMA connector (XBP08-DPSIT-024)

As I understand digi.com doesn't ship to Europe/Switzerland. Are there any other places where I can buy these components?

Ask the guys at http://www.coolcomponents.co.uk they have been very cool with all my asks so far. They might be able to help.

Cheers

Hey Jaron. I ordered from Digi directly and they delivered to me in Switzerland without problem. but you have to go to the European DIGI online store, not the North-American store.
But please think twice before getting the 868 modules. I have them and I feel their limited throughput/duty cycle is quite an handicap, unless you need them for very limited data streams. You may (re)read the discussion we once had around the Xbee Pro 868 here.
Thanks Gary and Reto.

I've read the XBee-Pro 868 thread and that sounds quiet disappointing. The idea was to have a (legal) data downlink besides my 2.4GHz radio.
You may get the Xbee Pro 60mW. They run on 2.4GHz and have a 1.5km range. I tried them out and they are fine. I did not do extended test to check for interferences with my 2.4GHz video, though. The only other longer range option I know of is the Pro 900 (10km), but I think they are not allowed in Switzerland and European countries!
