Hi,

I'm sure I'm going to feel like a mug for asking this, but I can't get the config tool to run in windows7.  I've installed the Remzibi OSD tools and .Net Framework 4, but the config tool is still not showing any maps.  Windows throws up a dialogue box when i close the tool saying "this tool needs Flash.ocx" which is not included in this operating system (see attached screenshot of the error).  I've uninstalled and reinstalled flash, but that does not improve the situation.

thanks
Jim

LOL Ok man still dont see where I stated as you put that you all say screw everyone? Huh ? Still your words not mine. Sorry you dont like my observations must have hit way to close to home about something. Sad to see you AND only you take this way past what it needed!

Take care
Your choice in words implies the "Go screw yourself"

Honestly if the bugs are disregarded if not reproducible on your end or who ever is working on the investigation of said bug, what would posses me to want to continue pointing things out if the response is always, "well works for us {so go screw yourself}" which seems to be the most common thing I hear from the ardu people.

If you had said "we can't duplicate the problem" instead of a dismissive "works for us" then the "go screw yourself" would not have been implied. Yes, only I took offense to your libelous lies.
Jim, try installing the 64-bit flash player

Bingo! Nice one HK, thanks for this. After installing both versions of the 64bit Flash player, I have maps displaying in the config tool! I still don't understand why it was able to work on Chris' OS with the 32bit flash player (assuming he hasn't installed this beta/preview of the 64bit player too), but I'm happy there is a solution now.

thanks again
Jim
Hi HK, great finding... as always helping with your good investigations. Glad to know that this was an issue with Flash installation and not a bug in the GCS.
I have a Windows XP just to use the GCS but now will try in my Windows 7 to see if that works fine.

Thanks,
Leonardo
Glad to hear you guys got it working. Flash for 64-bit only came out 3 days ago (I think)...so the solution hasn't been around long....
