Prop snap under too heavy load while sharp jibing ?

 I had a free run today and after 15mins flight, made a sharp jibe and seems like a prop snaped because of that . Here is a video and a (quite) jerky slowmotion   Does it often happen to you guys ? Continue

"Same here, I'm on xp , using APM1.4, via usb no problems with 1.1.50, had to get back to this version, tried first with 1.1.55,1.1.54,1.1.53,1.1.52 (in that order)  So this morning, i tried with 1.1.55, i could load/update apm with 2.5.0…"

Suicide mission ;-)

The fun stuff starts around 1.30 ..

 

This is what can easily happen when too confident and not enough prepared, when you get caught in some unexpected altitude windstream, even a little one

 

To sum it up .. suicide mission ; Had no fpv, no lights, no simple or rtl mode programmed

 

The panasonic was found split in two, but amazingly , the copter only bent one arm; i repaired since then . Am now waiting for a brand…

Proud to post my first blog post yay !

 

Well ok its only eyecandy, but i hope you'll get a 2min break of what you're doing and a little smile maybe laughing at the noob, hehe ^^ fair enough !

 

So today i received 2 more lipos so i could finally have a proper longer flight session and could setup some cams to finally do some video recording for post analysis (yeah, to analyse stuff , whatever ill get ^^);

This is the hexa forum... also if you go to phatassproduction.ca/chat and sign up, most of us are always on the chat room complaining, swearing and pulling our hair out together... often Dany from CANADADRONES.COM is there helping us as well... many videos as well!
