Hi Wendi, I have to disagree with your statement about being unable to stick anything to EPP, (PolyProp). Plain old CA is best, use some accelerator, hot glue is great but I haven't tried it myself. Sticky tapes don't seem to work unless…

Hi Cronselaar, If I recall it was about R200 for the pro version, worth every cent. Great program, can export your airfoil to CAD so that the fuselages can be drawn up and also cut. I use DeskCNC for the 'parallel' cutting on the…

Hi Cronselaar, I've done a great deal of CNC cutting with EPS and EPP, for the wings there is really only one package, www.profili2.com It will do all your cut outs, taper panels, etc. It needs a little bit of fooling to do the hinge lines and…

Yes You r right billu bhaiya but it will bw much better to add a small application which sends waypoints to dspic in meters... and we can add few lines in already existing interrupt loop of serial , it will get data and save in eeprom .. in waypoint…

Bryan, By the way, because the waypoints are measured relative to the power-up point, the waypoint pattern is portable. Once you program it in, you can use it anywhere you fly, without having to reprogram the board. This has some advantages. For…

Bryan Its true you need to reprogram every time you make changes to the waypoints, but it does not take long, it only recompiles the waypoints. The waypoints are stored in program space, so you can have plenty of them, on the order of 1000. Bill

Hi Bryan, The waypoints are compiled along with the code, the compiler counts them up and put them into program memory space (not RAM). Same goes with the options. Greg

Bill, I just read Greg's latest post. Is it true that you need to rebuild or make the project every time you make changes to waypoints (or the options.h file)? Thanks-----

Greg,

Regarding throttle control in the latest versions of MatrixNav and AileronAssist.

In manual mode, you have proportional control of the throttle.

In either assisted mode or waypoint mode, the control is adjusting the throttle to maintain altitude. When you are on the ground, this pretty much means full throttle. Once your plane climbs to the desired altitude, the throttle will cut back.

When you have the throttle full off in stabilized or waypoint mode, the throttle cuts off completely. This allows you to use stabilized mode to help you land, and then you can shut off the motor before you touch down.

Best regards,
Bill
