That should work fine, however you might need to program the ESC cut off voltage to low and I would not run the motor up with a big prop on it as it will pull more AMP's than the power supply will be able to…"

Hello,I recently got the jDrones motor(850kv version) and ESC(20A) however I don't have a battery right now.I want to test it out and see that I can control the ESC with an Arduino so I thought I'd connect the ESC to an old computer 300W+ PSU. It delivers 12v and it should be able to reach 25A+.Would that be ok? I don't want to fry anything in the process.See More
