If you use the IMU data to fill in gaps between GPS updates, and the IMU (6 DOF DCM) has no magnetometer and thus doesn't know COG but only body rates, I can see how IMU + GPS can give a smoothed COG, but you still have the lag. Am I correct in that…
I have sold and shipped several (8) to Australia. I just need answers to a list of questions to start processing an export application, and the fee for that. There have been some problems with the webmail to the AttoPilot site (which is being correc…
In my IMU experience (I mean success) a -3db bandwidth of 5.13 Hz is fine for the accelerometers. Otherwise, you end up with STUPID problems of vibration sensitivity that apparently U-Nav can't figure out and then in your manual (U-3500) tell people…

Actually, I am just starting RC flying in general as a hobby. I bought a Slow Stick as my first plane and I need to learn to fly it first. Once I get the hang of that, I will start to build my UAV. I've already built autonomous vehicles before, but that was on the ground. I've even built an underwater ROV before too.

Dean,
If you are in the Queen Creek area again sometime, would you mind if I tagged along?
Hi Dean,
Put me on the list of people that want to buy an AttoPilot!
Can you please let me know when it is ready for release.
Thanks! It looks great!
