i have seen both 5.6ghz and 900Mhz wireless TX/RX combos for around 70 bucks. And what are you using for radio control? with 2.4Ghz xbees you will have to go FM

I have a Sonic185 hot liner and she is a handful. landings take forever cause if you dont start using up your momentum, they will just glide by your landing spot. And durability in RC is much different than in full scale. EPP is very durable because…

I understand. Good luck with the new job prospects. The reason I asked if you had been sucessful with using the ardupilot with the RC Truck was because I would like to see how much it would cost to have you build the system for me. By the way, what truck is that? I want to get started with the arduino but it would be a lot better if I already had a system like this to really get me started on the right track.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi Dustin,

Well that sounds interesting and something I'll consider. How much sir? What is included?

I was kind of hoping I would find someone like you that had worked with this challenge and then start sharing codes and experiments and so on. I’m unemployed too but I’m in desperate need of a new project to keep from going brain dead.

Will your system track to GPS waypoints? In your video you stated that you had the ardupilot in for repairs and I wonder if it did work and also did it connect to the arduino so that you could use your very cool obstacle sensors and code. Which ardupilot would I need?

I sent this message again because I wasn't sure if it made into this thread. If you would like you can email me directly since this comment deal is kind of acting up.

Thanks,
Bill Jenkins
