Thanks for your support. I only have basic soldering skills, I tired my best to locate any another loose component but did not find any. I checked VDD (pin 9,19 ) and they have good 3.1 volt , also the ground pins are connected. I do not have an…

Kamil is right--sounds like the crash broke one gyro solder connection. A hot air gun treatment might fix it....

Check if there is no short between gyro output lines... Also check the power for the gyro. Then I'd try to resolder the gyro (i.e. mask the ramaining of the board with aluminum foil and use hot air).

Did I lose my APM (ArduCopter crash recovery )

Hi,I started off with an ArduCopter , it took me a while but after I linked the three PID to three RC channels I finally got it stable in the air.My PID where  3.20 , 0.32 , 1.11.I'm using 9ch Radio, CF2822 motors, 20A ESC towardpro, 1047 propellers, 2200 3s and 1 CM square tubes all from HK. Length was ~ 60 CM .After using it for at least three to four times, the airframe collapsed in midair (It was one faulty motor) , and it fell from around 10 meters high.Besides the crashed frame, I…See More

Thanks Yun. I shifted all receiver channels to PPM encoder mapping by one (RCV ch1 = PPM ch2 ,...)and added one line in the code and it works now. (by the way max number of channels = 8) I'm still straggling with the tuning. Although I purchase…

Looking further into it , it seems that it is hardware failure as only ch1 oscillates: I got these readings while I pushed ch1 far right Radio Channels:1926,1496,1407,1518,1101,1226,1017,0, Move throttle stick to bottom to start !!! Radio…

Hi Fouad, I read your problem and I just read last night the manual for the xbee 900mhz that goes up to 40km or so. The manual is on sparkfun with a range test connecting the tx to rx. It said there in a note that you should keep the two xbees at…
