"Anwar, thanks.  I had the wrong wire connected on the ardupilot.  I swapped CTS with Rx and now the IMU gets a lock, but nothing happens when I switch to stabilize and it wont allow any stick movement through.  I'm thinking it is…"

"I guess that EM406 is junk if trying to use it with ardupilot or ArduIMU.  It only runs at 57600 binary or 9600 NMEA and it refuses to switch between modes.  That makes it worthless.  I will try one more time to get it to work in Sirf…"

"The way the IMU is connected to ardupilot is the CTS line of ardupilot is connected to the Tx line of the IMU.  D6 on ardupilot is wired to D8 on the IMU.  If I remove the CTS/Tx connection the IMU blinks.  Connect it back up and the…"

"What platform is that? +1 on the looks, very snazzy! It must be a pusher powered unit. I have considered the APM<2 as a first step but it seems the pricing is not competitive with APM2. It might be if you are building your own shield or using…"

My Ardupilot(legacy) Platform

Here's the plane I will install my Arduimu and Ardupilot(legacy) into.  I still need to build a motor mount and wind the motor.  It should be stable as it is based on a previous version which was very stable.  I'm aiming for 10-12 ounces AUW and around 50W.See More

"I havent given up on this, just yet. The current idea is to attach sensors(FETS) to the wing tips and the difference in voltage, due to the gradient of the atmospheric ionization, will indicate attitude. Maynard Hill did it first using a piece of…"
