Drop zone toys (manipulating servos via APM)

So, over the Easter weekend I had some time in the lab and threw together a crude repeating egg dropper for the quad. Of course, keeping me in line and the cops at bay, the other half talked me out of my nefarious plan to deliver raw, yolked goodies from above and instead had me whip up a tennis ball dropper to entertain the dog.I've seen a lot of questions about manipulating servos with APM to either click the shutter on a camera or squeeze an airsoft trigger, so here's my approach using the…See More

Thanks for responding John, I can read and write with the RFmagic software in win7 64bit by opening the program and running as admin. if I don't run it that way it gives a strange character error message on opening. So I think the modules are be recognized OK, I have downloaded the Silax labs drivers and the APC220 shows in device manager on com port 4.

I have set the baud rates in software to rf192k and serial 57k with "write succeed" then in device manager under advanced tab and also in mission planner to com 4@ 57k

Hit connect button and planner immediatly goes to "recieving paramaters" a good sign but it then errors out and asks about cli switch position. Sometimes it will show batt voltage and gps fix though before the error, like it sent a small bit of data.

In terminal mode it shows a heartbeat so I think the modules are alive and OK.

Do you set RF 19200 and serial 19200 in the sotfware and write?

Do I need to change anything in configH with arduino022?
