APM_Config.h vs Paramaters from Mission Planner, who wins?

I am messing around with adding sonar to Arduplane and am trying to understand the workings of the config file vs the parameters that are saved via mission planner. If I, for example, have #define…Continue

Landing throttle cut off

Started Dec 15, 2011 0 Replies

I am digging through the code learning about how landing is implemented. It looks like the throttle is cut when land_complete (line 712 ArduPilotMega.pde) gets set to true, and complete is hard coded…Continue

Attaching airspeed sensor and sonar sensor

I am trying to work on implementing a landing flare and was hoping to get a few sensors wired up to help with this. I am at the moment just starting with sonar and airspeed, but in the wiki I see…Continue

HIL Flight Data and Flight Planner screes do nothing

I have tried Mission Planner 1.1.27 and 1.1.31 and am getting similar results. I am using Xplane 10 and APM v1.The link seems fine, data is populated in the simulation screen, I can fly the plane, I think stabilize is trying to work (it has Ardupilot Output numbers that change, the PID is just way off) but the "Flight Data" and "Flight Planner" tabs do nothing. So when I try to set my current location with the Home Location button, it says "...commect to your APM and wait for GPS lock." and the…See More

APM_Config.h vs Paramaters from Mission Planner, who wins?

I am messing around with adding sonar to Arduplane and am trying to understand the workings of the config file vs the parameters that are saved via mission planner. If I, for example, have #define AIRSPEED_SENSOR     ENABLED in APM_Config.h but do not check the hardware in the mission planner config, is it treated as enabled or not?ThanksJustinSee More
