Thanks Sebastian, so most should run with Ardupirates NG for the time being? Are the advances made in Ardupirates NG being ported into ACM or is this now a different branch altogether?

I have a similar question as I have seen so many different names for each code base: ArduPirates' SuperStable Code ArduCopter RC1 ArducopterNG now called ArduPiratesNG Code ArduPirates NG versions will be released as official ArduCopter…

Hi, I've just received my APMega board from spark fun and after soldering on some pins on I discovered I have the older 1.0 board. Does it matter? Or should I have received the 1.4 board? Cheers Matt

Arduino 18 Question Hi, I've just updated from Arduino v16 to v18 on Mac. 16 used to have a "ArduPilot_Headers" folder to drop the header files into before compiling. v18 for Mac OS X installs a single app file only. Does anyone…

I'm also on a mac... Make sure you read the instructions thoroughly. You will see that you have to put the .h file in - for example on a Mac - Applications > arduino-0017 > hardware > libraries > ArduPilot_Headers >…

@jordi. I have a funjet too with a little spare room. Are there any special instructions for use of the VTail code. Can you upload your funjet.h file? Else, I can use a Vtail mixer. PS: How long until you sell the UBlox? best Matt

Are you guys all having these successful flights with the throttle on auto or manual? Also, is the aileron/v-tail system working yet?

Not with Ardupilot, but a few other AutoPilots allow upload of new waypoints etc. I'm sure someone would have controlled the plane manually with XBees too, but can't cite any references for you. Matt

There's a good build thread for a 1:5 scale Predator over at RCU: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8005932/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm But recently the guy has slowed down. Maybe he'll send you his CAD sections. Matt

Hey Matt:

Just noticed you're from Sydney as well - interesting coincidence.

Did you ever get a reply about using XBees to control your plane? I'm contemplating building my own PCB to tie the various components together, but if the ArduPilot can handle an uplink, that would be much easier.

Have a nice easter,

Kelvin
