The (now deceased) Canon TX1 did record locally to 720p resolution. It also had a standard "video out" connection, ie the yellow video cable we've all seen on our TVs, which uses NTSC video format. I connect the video line to my 2.4 video transmitter for down link. Hope this help and sorry for the wait! Paul

About Me:
I am an Air Force engineer, currently assigned to the US Air Force Academy where I develop innovative UAV designs with my cadets. I have a MS in Mechanical Engineering, but I have little R/C experience.

I have taught a few courses in Mechatronics that featured the Basic Stamp and Parallax Board of Education for labs and projects, so I have a lot of experience with that hardware. I have built autonomous ground vehicles with the BS, but nothing airborne.

My goal is to develop an autonomous UAV that will support my research projects.

Contests

Season Two of the Trust Time Trial (T3) Contest has now begun. The third round was a reliablilty/aerial photography round for both planes and copters, which is now closed. Stay tuned for the next round, beginning soon.
