A team from Argentina has integrated the FreeRTOS with the arduino environment. It is called DuinOS. You spend just a few minutes to convert the current Ardupilot code to a FreeRTOS enabled one.

Just got my easy glider wing set a few days ago. I found they are a little bigger than EZ star wings at the joint part. How did you guys fit them into the ez star fuselage? Did you cut the wings or cut the fuselage wing holder?

To be exact, this unit does not only involve an IMU. It has to have some vision sensors. I bet if you block the chicken eyes, they won't do as good.

Chris, is it absolutely necessary to add 3 processors to the board? It is possible to use a real time operating system (RTOS) like FreeRTOS to achieve real time response. but I am not sure if an atmega1280 can handle the load though.
