Sure. Everything is a balancing act. If you can make that 300-40g payload lean towards the 320g side, you can get about about 50% longer flights with a 4400 mAh using the jDrones frame and the 850Kv motors, than if you go with 3DR/880/5800mAh. In…

But 1380gr at 100%, does that mean that I have to subtract the weight off the frame, electronics and motors from the 1380gr to get the max payload wheigt?

Lifting capacity?

I tried to search, but are there any lifting capacity graphs (flight time and battery calculated in) for the 3DR frame with the 880Kv motors? If not, what is the lifting capacity with the 880Kv motors and a pretty much standard 3DR frame (I know a standard quad doesn't exist, but you get the point). Hope anybody knows, thanks.See More

I tested the resistant and got 1 MΩ < . So I took a chance and put power on the board. Everything worked fine, but this is only about 5V. I guess the result would be something different with some high voltage static shock.

I used the pink bags the APU and IMU came in. I am quit sure this is anti-static bag, and a good material for this purpose. Or am I wrong about this?

I found using 3 zip ties a good solution. I didn't get the ties tight enough, so I used the packaging the APM and IMU came in underneath the board:

My first "major" crash!

I have never had a major crash (except some stupid nosedives) until today.

After the first waypoint ArduPilot suddenly decided my EasyStar was to high, and before I could recover control it disappeared behind some tress.

It was quit a loud bang when it hit, whatever it hit.

Lucky it wasn't dead, so I could track the plane from the sound of the engine.…

Maybe this camera I found on the web would interest fellow aerial photographers.

 

It apparently doesn't weigh more than 85g, can take up to 1080p and it looks like a easy camera to fit on a plane compared to a bit more bulky GoPro.

Hei, eg har dessverre ikkje ArduCopter, men eg har planar om å skaffe meg ArduPilot forhåpentlegvis snart.

Men det høyrtest interessant ut med ein ArduCopter/UAV dag, så gje gjerne ein lyd om du veit noko meir om det.
Eg kan forresten vere behjelpelig med ei eventuell nettside for informasjon og kunngjeringar for dette formålet via firmaet mitt på www.zwarte.no. (Det utfører eg gratis isåfall.)

Ang. artikkelen din er det eit selskap i Hardanger som kan vera av interesse for deg, nemlig Panorama Hardanger. Eg er usikker på om dei brukar ArduCopter, men dei har bla. anna filma Ekstremsportveko på Voss for NRK med forskjellige UAV'ar.
Er dette ein artikkel som hamnar i norske avisar forresten?
