What I have found that helps is to use a polarizing filter like the one from rage cams ( no I have no affiliation with them) By cutting down the light it not only adds color and depth tot he shots but with the cmos sensor it helps with the…

Thanks for the suggestions, Pat. We've already put several of them in place. The reversing error in the documentation has been fixed. Also, check out this picture of the new PDB - some of the silk is hidden by wires but you can see it's…

That's what I thought, and that's what happens with a fresh firware without the pitch reversed in the mission planner. On this page here: http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/AC2_Props_2 it says that pushing the pitch stick…

Pushing pitch stick forward should make the nose of the copter go down, so rear motors should speed up and front motors should slow down.

My first EasyStar RC flights- with GPS too!

Like many others, I have been mildly obsessed with the thought of building my own autonomous aircraft for some time now, and DIY Drones has been a wonderful inspiration. It helped convince me to purchase an EasyStar a year ago, but due to other activities in my life, it sat collecting dust in its box until 2 weeks ago when I finally began to assemble it. Well, I finished it last Thursday and had a coworker help with its maiden flight to ensure… Continue
