But I asked about functionality.
1. Could Kinect do a land serace recognizing (not body recognizing)?
2. Can we use this info (if could) for improve the autolanding quality?

The ardupilot doesnt have the bandwidth to process kinect data so you would have to introduce another board to get that done.

When you are flying a kite the air hitting you in the face is the wind, it has a speed, wind speed. Lets call it 10 knots. The kite is behind you sat in a 10 knot breeze.
If we have a model aircraft it needs forward speed to create lift…

Indicated airspeed (IAS) is measured by a pitot tube, TAS is IAS corrected for density altitude. Density altitude is pressure altitude corrected for temperature.

I am currently developing some trimming software for jsbsim that will allow you to obtain a linear model for different flight conditions and for various airframes. You can use root locus design or bode plot design to then design the control system based on the linear system. If you haven't done this before checkout the book by Ogata, "Modern Control Engineering". I will release the trimming software soon, after I clean it up a bit.
