"I don't know anything about Spektrum receivers, but my guess is that you've got the connector plugged in upside down. Shouldn't white (signal) be at the top?"

"Can you post a photo of your connection?  Normally, if you're power the RC rail you'll power everything connected to it. I suspect you're missing some wires or have them plugged upside down."

"Are you powering the board via an ESC plugged into the RC rail? Or are you using the built-in power regulator and have bridged the solder jumper and otherwise set that up right?  "

"Sorry I should have mentioned, this is how I have the audupilot powered.  I do not have any USB cables attached, just the lipo.  Did not know about it as a safety feature, but good to know."

"You need to power the RC rail (including the RC Rx) with your LiPo/ESC--it is not powered by the USB or APM board itself (this is a safety feature).    All this is documented in the manual, BTW."

No power to RC reciever

Can someone provide some troubleshooting?  I am not getting a power light on my Spektrum AR8000 receiver.    The GPS module LED is on, and other LEDS on the board are flashing. I have the receiver cables in correctly, with the data wire up on the audopilot and down on the receiver. Could this be a code problem?  I had it working before...  The board was purchased assembled from 3D Drones.See More

No Power to RC Receiver

Hello all - After a couple successful test hovers, I had after the wind got hold of it. Now after putting parts back together, the LED on the RC receiver is not coming on.  I bench tested the receiver using a 6v battery pack and it came on fine.  The APM comes on when I plug in the LiPo and the leds all flash correctly.   But no light on the RC side.  If I unplug the Red/Orange cable from the APM and plug it right into the throttle of the RC, still nothing. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this…See More
