I spent most of the weekend stuffing around with the GPS and still no success.
Made sure the adapter board was dead straight, re-programmed heaps of time, left out side for hours and still no lock.

"Update on this: Simon sent the board and I checked it out. It looks like the programming on the Attiny got wiped out (maybe by static?). Anyway, I reprogrammed it with the AVR programmer and it works fine now."

I ran the radio test program and the sevo outputs all look good.
I also increased the input voltage to 12V for the Ardu Pilot.

"Let us know how it goes with that second radio. If it works, I may recommend a servo amplifier on the first radio. If it doesn't, I suggest you return the board."
