There gps connectors on both the AP board and the shield. Which one does my EM406 plug into? I have used the shield socket but get no blue light.

I have the green board so the photos on preparing hardware don't align with this board.1. Where does the 1-pin power pin for the telemetry go. Perhaps in the "5V" hole near the upper right corner?2.…Continue

Works with servo tester but not radio and hitec electron 6. Switch tester demonstrated that soldering was ok. With AP software servo tester takes the main board red and green leds through the expected sequence - off, fly by wire, rtl. but not with…

I see there is a switch tester in 2.5. I'll move in that direction and check the solder joints. Good night.

The mode LED on the mainboard doesn't change? If so, you haven't plugged in channel 5 right or you have a soldering problem. That's has nothing to do with the code and is programmed in at the factory.

That is the correct place, and header file needs gps_protocol set to 0 // Airframe settings //1-1 #define GPS_PROTOCOL 0 // 0 = NMEA, 1=SIRF, 2=uBlox, 3 = IMU //Choose protocol

Figured out, though it is not said anywhere, that the 3 pin jumper assumes that you will solder half of a three wire female servo extension in the pc board rather than a two pin header. Then the included 3 wire jumper male plugs into the 3 wire…

OK on the reset button. But the DIYdrones shield kit comes with a THREE pin jumper. You've shown the solution for a TWO pin bind plug. Where do I get one of those? Why was that not in the kit instead of the thre pin jumper. Finally what…

I think you mean red vs. blue? The blue one is the new one. We're updating the instructions, but in the meantime, this picture should show you what you need.
