To be clear: you set the automatic steering to the direction which gives the possibility for the longest flight. It doesn't have to face the wind directly, a long slope is prior to a wind direction if there's no good terrain in the wind…

Ok but noone here will take the risk as a developer if an airsoft rambo shot out his friend's eye with an ardurover tank....
Substitute the assault rifle with a fire extinguisher and it will be ok as a robotic fire engine...

It also goes in to the pieces because of the landing. If it hits the ground too hard it goes to pieces rather than really broke up.

See the two small props in the wing ends which work against reaction torque, one facing up, one down. I think they start it vertically and the main prop is not folding.

I hope to use your parafoil concept soon on my C-160 Transall drone.
