Throttle in Manual mode (not working) and stabilize (working)

Throttle in Manual mode (not working) and stabilize (working)

Hello, I have an APM 1.0 board that gets power from an ESC, LIPO battery 11.1. I have connected 3 servos, xBee, Mediatek GPS and the RX to the board. When I'm in manual mode I don't have any control over the throttle. When I mode the stick to 25%, 50% and 100% nothing happens, but when I switch to stabilize mode, the motor rotates the way is supposed to. I've been reading several of the forums but the discussions talk about manual working but not stabilize. Any suggestions as to what could…See More

Ardupilot Mega (APM) resets itself

Hello everyone, When I power APM from a battery through the esc/bec, the board has the leds flashing when is doing its calibration, is it normal that during the calibration or after the calibration to restart the calibration process when I plug the usb to the board? I'm trying to run my HIL simulation, but whenever I try to read or write the EEPROM, or connect/disconnect to the APM Planner Simulation, it restarts all over again, is this why I can't see any servo outputs? Is this normal? Any…See More

APM Planner + Servo Outputs + X-Plane

Hello Everyone, I'm trying to run a simulation using X-Plane to get comfortable with the RC system. I'm unable to get an output graph for the servos in APM Planner, even though the servos are connected through APM and they move when I move the sticks.I have done the radio setup and mode setup with arduino-ide in CLI. I'm running APM 1.02, I have the APM 1.0 board with the OilPan. I'm using 3 servos, a battery is connected to the RX which powers the servos and a USB connection is present. I've…See More

xBee troubleshooting help

Hello everyone, Last night I took my laptop outside to test my telemetry in conjuction with the gps. The Oilpan was connected to the laptop and gps and xbee pro 100 wire antenna were connected to it. I think I had a loose cable to the oilpan because it was working for a little bit but as soon as I moved my autopilot system it lost power and then regain it but then I couldn't connect my telemetry back. I tried to run the X-CTU utility to both xbees. The XBee Pro 900 RPSMA worked fine. The…See More

Mediatek GPS not getting SAT lock,

Hello Everyone, this is what I have and what I have done.I have APM 1.0 (running the the 1.02), Mediatek GPS with the 1.6 firmware. I enabled the line and added the 16 to the APM_Config.h #define GPS_PROTOCOL GPS_PROTOCOL_MTK16 When I plug one end of the USB cable to my computer and the other end to the oilpan, after a few minutes, the blue light in the GPS becomes solid. Also, in the Oilpan, I see a solid red light in C and solid green light in A when I move the switch toward the servo input…See More
