Q1 => unnecessary complexity; these kind of UAVs operate in a flat world
Q2&3 => indeed, my plane worked very well without multi-dimensional gps-ins kalman filters, even in windy conditions. It had basic stabilization inspired on the…
if we use the haversine formula instead of ur function, what r the consequences?
what i understood with ur project is that, we dont need that much INS AND GPS INTEGERATION for the navigation of uav?
meaning, we just stable the uav via gyro n…
Impressive stability !!
Thnak you sharing your experience with us. Which autopilot do you use? Is is based on Propeller (COG)?
Can you tell us more about your gyro (and may be +accelerometer) HW and your filter?
Thanks,
P.S. You should clean the…
Just buy an FMA co-pilot if you want to have this type of stability with video. With Autopilot I get close to this without the need to employ gyros. Just using ardupilot and the FMA XY-Z sensors and good tuning will get you quite close.
Hi I am very impressed of the stability that your set up offers. I would like to build one for my self. Can you provide me the parts? Is this an easy task to do? or do you need to know about electronics in order to achieve this outcome?
Being an RC flyer in my spare time and an electronics engineer in a GPS company in professional life, combining GPS and RC is something that really appeals to me.
The past months I've built an EasyStar guided by GPS and ... it works! Now I'm further exploring the world of automated flight. Trying other sensors, other planes,...
