"If you're serious about it, get a real radio. You'll be glad you don't have to throw away your cheap radio. You can also use multiple receivers for a single radio. That way you can get more planes and not move the electronics around."

buying first RC plane, transmitter question

Hey guys, I've been wanting to make a UAV heli for a while now, finally taking the plunge with a plane first. I am going to start off with either an easy star or easy glider. I noticed some of the easy star kits come bundled with a very basic transmitter. Will this be good down the line if I need to upgrade or get another plane or should I start off with a better transmitter right away and not waste money on that one?ThanksSee More
