I know I'm being picky, but "increase flight endurance by up to 300% over lithium batteries" does not equal "300 times more powerful than lithium ion". It's a cool tech. Probably not ready for micro-UAVs just yet, but maybe some day soon.

Just curious, why do you specifically want a nitro plane? I didn't think they provided any significant advantages over electric anymore.

Yikes...you're talking about writing drivers from scratch for usb hardware?

Easily. A typical servo signal is 1ms-2ms at 50Hz. At 1Mhz this oscilloscope would sample 1000 times during a 1ms pulse. An arduino can see servo pulses too though. And actually, there are ways to use your computer as an oscilloscope by using your…

Yeah, pretty sure that one will run the same code too. Note that there are software compatible clones, and hardware compatible clones. The difference being that the latter have exactly the same female pin layout as the arduino, meaning they can hav…

The arduino hardware and software are open source. Anyone can make their own or remix it. The Ardupilot is a slightly modified arduino. Seeedstudio and Sparkfun sell Arduino clones (as do other sites, I believe) The arduino name is not free to use,…

Very cool stuff. I do have to wonder though when it's time for arduino to move up to a more powerful chip. It's admirable that so much power is being wrung out of the current arduino, but think of what all this effort could do with something stronge…
