Why don't you try the FY21AP? Its a 3 axis accelerometer + gyro, with stand alone autopilot with RTH and auto circling. Someone has tested it to 100 km. But not on a kerosene turbine…
One of their test pilots at RCG spiraled his plane up to 100km per hour (probably less :) ) in order to de-stabilize the unit. The FY21AP took it all. He did it twice (i think) and the aircraft came back stabilized.

Certainly interested. For me I only need self leveling, altitude hold (via throttle) and return to home in case of lost Transmitter connection. Waypoints control, self landing, GPS logging, etc, should be optional 'plug and play' modules -…
I went through the SCP1000 specs. Seems extremely promising with 9cm pressure change sensing ability.
Space and rotor wash isolation is not a problem. The problem is the lack of knowledge on merging the sensor output to the receiver / swash…
GPS altitude was good enough for heli's last year if you flew when satellites were directly overhead & had a real clean GPS signal. This year, the satellite coverage has been intermittant. Better get a big airframe & an SCP1000. That…
